Jacob Laval, 14, has landed the title role in the upcoming Jon Gunn family drama, The Unbreakable Boy.

Starring opposite Shazam's Zachary Levi and Twilight's Peter Facinelli, Laval plays a teen with brittle bone disease and autism, marking his debut serious role. Attending musical theatre classes in a bid to help his speech impairment, the New Yorker caught the acting bug, and starred in various commercials before landing roles alongside Jessica Chastain in Miss Sloane and Krysten Ritter in Marvel's Jessica Jones.
